Case Studies: Aerobed

Aerobed is one of the fastest growing brands in the UK and we were delighted to be involved in their programme to double their sales in 2006.

We have worked with Aerobed and their resellers to provide branded in store displays.

Firstly we produced and installed into 24 John Lewis Partnership stores a range of Brushed steel merchandising systems which enabled the customer to pull out a demo mini bed and experience the ease and comfort of the inflatable bed.

Following this we provided "on Gondola" merchandising for Tesco stores, again allowing the product to be experienced prior to picking the product from around the demo area.

Both of these products required compliance with the retailer's designs and material specifications whilst still allowing the Aerobed product to stand out.

TPS also designed prototyped and distributed a merchandising range of products for Aerobed into all Dreams Beds stores throughout the UK. These products included a cost effective mid floor merchandiser which was designed to be a low cost temporary solution to quickly allow the product to be displayed in a small footprint within the stores.

For the largest 80 stores within the portfolio we produced a graphic headboard against which a fully inflated bed could be place, the headboard was digitally printed inside a silver steel frame with multi functional stands which enabled the system to be used both against a wall and centrally within the store.

We are already working on 2007's requirements for Aerobed which is a testament to our quality and reliability.

"AeroBed® set a new mission early in 2006 to become the household work for temporary spare beds. In doing so we looked for strategic partners that could help execute a new strategy and goal to double turnover each year. As one of our partners TPS helped to formulate innovative solutions to create a foot-print and experience the AeroBed in-store. The first was the IMS (Interactive Merchandising Stand) which included video, branding, an interactive mini-AeroBed and display stand so the whole purchase decision could be made with ease. Since then AeroBed has been able to launch or role out the IMS and a number of different POS solutions in retail chains like John Lewis, Tesco, Dreams and MFI. The people at TPS have been great to deal with and have made things happen when we needed it. I look forward to further developing the relationship with TPS through 2007 and beyond".
